ARCH Academy offers a variety of Alumni Services which include onsite, weekly meetings led by fellow adolescent alumni. These are offered to both the adolescent and their parents. Alumni frequently return to campus to share their experience with current teens and families regarding their recovery journey. ARCH Academy greatly values their alumnus contributions to the program and their respective communities.

Recovery Care Advocacy

Alcohol and drug addiction is a chronic, progressive and potentially fatal disease. Studies have shown accountability with a continuing care plan, sober fellowship, family involvement and extended support serve as the cornerstone for long-term recovery. Recovery Care Advocacy at Cumberland Heights is a service provided to everyone who has completed a treatment program at Cumberland Heights. Some alumni go for a year, others go for 30. We encourage those in recovery to do whatever feels right for them. The service is offered at no additional cost.

Services Included:
  • a personal recovery advocate who will support the patient through the first year of recovery
  • guidance and encouragement to help engagement in 12-Step involvement and sponsorship
  • connection with sober social activities and recreation
  • contact with family and others in recovery collaboration
  • resources to contact external support such as therapists and psychiatrists
  • connection with Aftercare at Cumberland Heights and alumni activities through ARCH including weekly attendance of Aftercare meetings. AfterCare is held every Thursday from 7-8 PM

Recovery Care Advocacy

“Long-term recovery requires vigilance, support and spiritual growth attained through the 12 Steps. I believe Recovery Care Advocacy is the best and most effective tool to anyone who needs additional support beyond the foundation of recovery started in primary treatment.”

– Randal Lea, Executive Director for Community Based Services
