Since 1985, Adolescent Recovery Cumberland Heights (ARCH) has been dedicated to transforming lives, giving hope and healing to those affected by alcohol or drug addiction. As a nationally recognized program, we’ve supported adolescents and their families through a unique blend of academics, adventure, and recovery from across the country. The ARCH Difference
Substance Use Disorder is a chronic and progressive disease, and the developing brains of teens are especially vulnerable to the effects of drug and alcohol. ARCH combines research-based methods with proven techniques, balancing therapy, academics, and adventure to support adolescent recovery.
Our team provides individualized care rooted in 12-Step principles, family involvement, and a supportive peer culture. We take a whole-person approach, addressing mental health, family dynamics, relationships, and academic confidence to build a strong foundation for lasting recovery.
We know that healing from addiction is a journey. From residential treatment to outpatient programs and a strong alumni network, our full continuum of care supports teens at every step.
Treatment doesn’t mean putting education on hold. Our academic program helps teens continue working toward their academic goals while receiving the support they need to heal and grow.
Growth happens beyond the classroom. Through experiential therapies such as ziplining, equine therapy, and fly fishing, teens are able to build trust, confidence, and resilience in recovery.

ARCH Academy has two beautiful campuses just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, providing the ideal environments for adolescent recovery. Surrounded by nature, these campuses support growth and healing through structure, community, and adventure.
